1 Australian Support Dogs, Sydney
Australian Support Dogs Inc. is a group, set up in Mona Vale, NSW with very similar objectives to ASDOGS (NQ) Inc. to supply trained Assistance Dogs to people with disabilities.

This site is dedicated to my first Service Dog, Tyler, who after five years of working for me, had to be retired due to medical problems. This is our last picture with Tyler before he was given back to his trainer and retired at her home.

A service dog is a type of assistance dog that is specially trained to help people who have disabilities other than visual or hearing impairment. Examples of these include psychiatric service dogs, mobility assistance dogs, and seizure response dogs.

The Delta Foundation was established in 1977 in Portland, Oregon, under the leadership of Michael McCulloch, MD. Delta's first president was Leo K. Bustad, DVM, PhD, dean of a veterinary college and a pioneer in human-animal bond theory and application. Delta's founders wanted to understand the quality of the relationship between pet owners, pets, and care givers, both human and veterinary, (hence the "delta" name based on this triangle).
10 Animal Health Foundation
The Animal Health Foundation is a "501c-3 not for profit" organization sponsoring a variety of projects that promote animal well being and the human/animal bond. The companionship of a dog or cat, communicating with a horse, and observing the fascinating behavior traits of wild animals are all priceless gifts.
