A few months ago ASDOGS(NQ) placed a therapy/assistance dog with the Mt Isa Special School. According to the Principal, Bailey has proven to be of immense help to children with special needs. Below is just part of what the principal had to say about the placement of Bailey.

"I was blown away at how the students and staff had reacted to the dog in such a positive way. He is lots of fun and it brings out the best in our kids. We are very eager to incorporate Bailey to their program. We have one student who has behavioural emotional problems and we are trying to reinforce positive behaviour. When she is doing the right thing , she can spend 10 minutes with Bailey. Bailey has been such a powerful motivation for a child to communicate."
